About the Soiciety

The Indonesian Poultry Science Society (Masyarakat Ilmu Perunggasan Indonesia, MIPI), also known as MIPI–WPSA Indonesia, is a professional scientific association dedicated to advancing poultry science, research, education, and technological innovation in Indonesia. The Society serves as the Indonesian Branch of the World's Poultry Science Association (WPSA), an international organization promoting the advancement and exchange of scientific knowledge in poultry science.

MIPI–WPSA Indonesia promotes the development, dissemination, and application of scientific knowledge and technology to improve poultry productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. Its areas of interest encompass poultry nutrition, genetics, breeding, reproduction, health, welfare, production systems, management, and related disciplines.

The Society fosters collaboration among researchers, academics, poultry professionals, and industry stakeholders to facilitate scientific exchange, strengthen research capacity, and encourage innovations that contribute to the advancement of poultry science and the poultry industry in Indonesia and internationally.

MIPI–WPSA Indonesia supports the academic development and scientific quality of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Poultry Science (APJPS) through scholarly collaboration, editorial expertise, and the promotion of research integrity and high standards in scientific publishing.
